Galaxy Athletic Club Inc is excited to announce Bay Area native, Roxy Kamal as the Technical Director of Galaxy Futsal San Jose (SJ). 

Galaxy Futsal SJ today announces the hire of Roxy Kamal in the role of advising Technical Director. A Bay Area native, Roxy will be responsible for curriculum development (across all groups and levels), coaching education, development and selection of Champions Cup Series (CCS) teams, and will work closely with the club’s executive team on key initiatives that will drive the club forward on its multi-year vision. 

Roxy has a Master’s in Sport Management, is an accredited U.S. Soccer Federation coach, and recently completed her U.S. Soccer Federation Director of Coaching License. Roxy played D1 college soccer at San Jose State University. As a player and coach, she has represented the U.S. Futsal Women’s National Team in multiple domestic and international events including the World Cup in 2013. She was the head coach, DOC, and Technical Director at several elite-level clubs since 2009, including time at the San Jose Earthquakes, San Jose Surf, and De Anza Force. Roxy has won 30+ National and Regional titles over the years. Roxy is currently the Girl’s Elite Futsal Director for the Colorado Rapids.

Roxy will jump right into the current Fall season as the club looks to build a deep pool of technically and tactically talented futsal players across all age groups, representing the rich talent that the SF Bay Area has to offer.
