Meet the Team
Katelyn played college soccer (CSU Stanislaus) and professionally in Sweden and Iceland. Katelyn has won various regional and national futsal championships. She represented the US women’s national futsal team at the World Cup in Spain. Katelyn has a Masters in Teaching Education and is extremely passionate about Futsal.
Al played soccer & futsal at a high competitive level in Australia youth and adult levels, has 5+ years coaching experience and is dad to 2 boys (9 & 12). Al is a silicon valley tech executive with 20+ years experience building & leading teams in international business.
Tony had a successful soccer career spanning multiple college and semi-professional teams, has 20+ years coaching experience at various NorCal clubs and is dad to 2 kids (ages 7 & 9). Tony works within the finance & banking sector..
Vaibhav played competitive soccer in India. Vaibhav is a business strategist with an MBA & extensive experience in sales, marketing & operations. He was the startup founder of the VC-based sports training application and is a dad to a 10 y/o boy.
Why Galaxy Futsal?
Through Galaxy Futsal we are bringing Bay Area players, across outdoor club boundaries and geographies, together to practice and compete. We aim to shine a spotlight on the diverse and deep talent of the Bay area on a national and international stage.
Our passion for soccer and the benefits Futsal has to offer each player’s development is the catalyst for Galaxy Futsal Academy’s existence. Parents and players, that participate in our program, are recognizing the growth. The positive feedback and encouragement only fuels our passionate and motivated staff and coaches to raise our game.
We want to create an environment in which parents can share their ideas and thoughts on how to improve the club, and where coaches have the creative liberty to execute our vision with the player at the forefront.
Our year round Galaxy Futsal Academy focuses its strengths on player development through a futsal club that is built around the traditional outdoor soccer schedule and offers a tournament-focused pathway to progress.
